A couple of years ago I suddenly saw it and felt it everywhere.
In my body. In my heart.
Dear you, I hope you unwrap this gift too.
Spotlight for Happiness
Everywhere I went. I stood out.
From leading group at primary school.
To leading role in the musical.
To the cover of my high school.
In the newspaper, on the radio, on stage with Edwin Rutte (a well-known jazz singer and performer), the supporting act for Wouter Hamel (a popular Jazz singer) with vocals.
At korfball (sports), I was in the newspaper and I stood out.
Just like at school and during my education.
Because I did my best and because of what I could do good.
In the club, I preferred to dance freely on stage.
Just like at weddings - where this photo was taken -. I am always the first to step onto the dance floor. No embarrassment. Just let go. Enjoy.
As vice-chairman of student councils, I got into magazines with it.
As an entrepreneur, I automatically received emails for interviews.
I was able to share stories to contribute to happiness in popular Dutch Media like the Libelle, Veronica Magazine and on the radio.
Special Spotlight Moment
Ring, the doorbell rang.
A well-known magazine, which was special for my grandmother and grandfather.
Asked if they could take a photo for the tree in front of our house.
Also on the cover appeared: my house.
At every entrepreneurial event I went to, they asked me.
For a video, a collaboration or a review on their website.
The penny dropped. Monday evening.
We were on the tennis court. And there they arrived. The photographer introduced herself and asked us if we wanted to be photographed in action.
For a club campaign. On the cover of a magazine from a big company I was member of.
At the end she showed me which photo she wanted to go for.
I just happen to be in the spotlight on that photo 😉
